1st Day!

Today was my first day back to school, and Noah's first day back at Missy's! He loved it! He was barely out of the car and took off running! My day on the other hand was not so exciting! Meetings and a little bit of drama created by others! Gotta love small towns!

Noah was so excited to see Missy's baby...she's not due until Feb! He didn't quite understand! When he came home and snuggled into me and pointed to my belly and said "baby?" He couldn't quite understand that Mommy wasn't having a baby in her belly yet...hopefully soon little buddy!

I will try to get some pics uploaded soon. It's way past my school bedtime as it is!

Back to the Grind and Galactosemia Update

Well even though this is my last week of summer vacation it's been one of the busiest week's yet. Noah and I have been in my room working when we can...Noah loves "HELPING"...when we haven't been in my room it's running errands, dr. appointments and ton of other happenings!

Yesterday Noah had an appointment with Dr. Sala his pediatric opthamologist. His office is amazing! It's like a rainforest and so kid friendly. Noah did fantastic. Just a few tears when they put the drops in and within seconds he was great! No cataracts...and we don't need to go back until next year! YEAH! We love good Dr. reports!

Noah playing with the Coasters at Dr. Sala's office!
Noah's favorite part of the day was "visiting" with the giant frog!

Last weekend we had the best weather of the whole summer! We spent the whole day at the beach at the lakehouse. Noah even went swimming in the lake 3 times! It was a miracle! He played in the sand most of the day! We had a great time! Noah even spent Friday night partying with Aunt Julie while Mommy and Daddy went out for a bit!

Noah playing chase with Aunt Erin...Aunt Erin was pretty winded after a few laps around Grammy and GrandBob's lakehouse!

Noah playing while keeping a close eye on Brooklyn...or when Noah says it "BROOKE-BEAN"!

Noah getting a little help from Uncle Chris with spider catching!

Mom...Morgan is looking at my truck!
Serious business this sand stuff!

And to our dissmay, we found that our trees have already started changing...summer is almost over here in the North...if it ever came to begin with...on the plus side...FOOTBALL IS HERE!
"NO Daisy...this way!"
Mom, this dog is not listening to me!

OMG...BOYS!

I left Noah alone in his room so that I could take a shower this morning...when I got out this is what I found...

Not only did Noah trash his whole room, but he decided to play wrestle mania with Pooh Bear!
OOPS...Busted!

Oh Boys!

Preschool!?

Wow, I can hardly believe that it's time to start thinking about preschool for Noah already! It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from St. Vincent! He was so little!

Noah's trip home from the hospital at almost 3 weeks old!

One of my favorites...Santa's little helper!

And now, he's going to be three soon!
Being his normal cheesey self!

I'm pretty sure that last Halloween was the last time I can make him dress cutesy!

Making pictures at Missy's house!

I spoke to the secretary yesterday and Noah is all set to start school! He will attend a two year old class for two hours on Tuesdays! The plus is the it's ok if they are not potty trained! Hopefully we won't have to worry about that! She said it's ok for Noah to stay in the two's class if he wants, but that if we think he's ready, he could join the three's class around Christmas Break! Lots of exciting things to think about! So we say...Heck with you speech lady...I don't need a special class!

The ZOO!

We had a great day yesterday! I took Noah to the zoo with Grammy and GrandBob...Daddy had to work!

Nothing could be finer than to be in Greenville, South Carolina...but since we couldn't be there...the zoo had to do!

When Noah heard we were going to the zoo...he got his lizards ready for a photoshoot!

Noahloved watching the Rhino try to move this log!

Noah and GrandBob looking for the sand cat...which looks just like the four I have at home!

Grammy's favorite the giraffes.

Noah's exact words..."Mommy? Tiger play!" He couldn't figure out how to get in to the tiger!

Turtles!

There are so many more the appearantly I will need to post later, since Noah is standing here with ..."mommy....mommy....mommy?!"

What a week

What a week it's been. I finally got rid of my crutches on Friday. I'm still not moving great, but the knee is healing. I go to see the Dr. on Tuesday morning to get the stitches out!

Here's a pic of the day after surgery! Noah was helping Mommy feel better!
The following picture is one that Noah took of himself at Aunt Erin and Uncle Chris's wedding! When the nurses in surgery told me to think of a happy thought before going under anesthesia (SP?) this is what flashed in my mind!

We went to the lakehouse the weekend and went out to dinner for Grammy's Birthday! Noah even was able to tell Grammy "Happy Brithday" so everyone could understand!!! Something we are really working on!
Here a few pictures of Noah doing his favorite thing at the lake...throwing rocks!

Madison helping Noah find some rocks to throw. Madison was Noah's new bff for the weekend!

Playing with "DJ"

Noah had his first experience at chasing fire flies! He loved them. Evne though the picture doesn't show them...they were there!

On top of everything else this past week, we also had new carpet put in our office! These pics are for you Grandma Kathy!
This is an up close look at the carpet...so you could see the color!

And here's the room, minus some furniture!
I think that is enough for tonight!
